motiroti is an internationally acclaimed and award winning arts organisation led by Artistic Director Ali Zaidi. We create and produce highly original works combining new media, visual and live art for a variety of spaces - intimate as well as public.

All our multi-layered projects are led by participation and collaboration across varied media, socially engaged practices, artists, producers, audiences and venues. We are interested in people, their stories, and the dynamic interaction amongst different cultures. Most of the time the participants themselves are part of the artwork.

Our production systems are innovative and complex. The final artworks are fun, dynamic and accessible to all. Since motiroti was founded ten years ago casts of thousands have presented challenging works to an audience of millions.

We also disseminate ideas on diversity of practice, and promote learning and development programmes.
