cacophony
In a large blacked out space, over 150 voices create a spatial play through a range of languages, dialects, accents, pitch and timbre suggesting at their political and cultural identities and at times creating a cacophony which sometimes suffocates.
Cacophony is an adaptation for the web of a live randomly generating sound installation by Poulomi Desai exhibited at the Mead Gallery Warwick as part of motiroti's Fresh Masaala. Adapted for the web by simon @usurp .
