As a starting point, the group discussed themes and approaches used in cutout, and considered different ways of looking at public spaces, and how places can be transformed by the ways people use them. Working with digital cameras, the students explored the architecture and the environment around the building and produced a collection of personal images reflecting the surrounding space and themselves within it.
Wes invited the 7 participants to select their favourite images to be displayed in our Gallery.
Participating students: Ali Abas, Ayah Bashir, Alys Hennessy-Holt, Amoad Hussan, Didier Samba, Nawzad Yousif Omer.
