We are keen to encourage new talent, and are interested in recruiting placements when meaningful and challenging work experience opportunities are available. Placements work with our artistic team, as well as in the areas of administration and marketing. motiroti placements learn first hand about working for a busy arts company and are given the opportunity to extend and develop their skills.

When applying for a placement position at motiroti note that:
- We are looking for people who are as passionate about creativity and ideas as we are, so we want to hear about your relevant experience or skills
- You should have studied or are studying some form of arts or arts administration at tertiary level and/or have had some previous experience in the arts
- You should be computer literate
- It would be helpful if you could specify in your e-mail or letter your main areas of interest and the length of time you would like to spend working with us (i.e. number of days per week and overall duration of placement)
- All placement opportunities are unpaid and the accommodation and travel costs are your responsibility
Placements policy
- Placements are welcomed at motiroti, when meaningful and challenging work is available
- When placement positions are not available interested persons are encouraged to send in their CVs so that they can be informed when an opportunity becomes available
- Placement positions are advertised through our e-mailing list. Interested parties will be provided with an application form and job description on request
- The aim of the placement job description is to provide a clear and more business-like framework for the placement
- A short-list of placement candidates will be interviewed within the guidelines of our equal opportunities policy, and the most suitable applicant will be offered the placement
- The placement will sign a copy of their job description stating that they agree to the terms and conditions of the placement
- Placements are subject to motiroti's staffing policies
