learning policy
motiroti sees learning and art production as equally potent learning opportunities. The activity is expansive and supports the dynamic exchange of ideas and techniques with participating communities, audiences, artists and organisations.
motiroti creates art projects that excite imaginations, examine cultural assumptions and promote change. The work created is fun, dynamic and combines familiar and cutting edge techniques. It also encourages and develops the work of new artists and pushes the boundaries of new technology.
motiroti's Invitation to Learn
Learning is something that is embedded in the very core of motiroti practice. Through our work we aim to promote a lifelong learning culture and encourage individual reflection, learning and self-expression through active participation.
- To develop a range of imaginative and effective learning programmes using visual arts, video or live performance, which engage and inspire diverse participating groups
- To enable individuals, institutions and communities locally, nationally and internationally to engage with the artistic processes of motiroti
- To use consultation and evaluation at all appropriate stages to inform and support the learning process
- To work primarily, though not exclusively, within the post 16 years old, non-formal education sector

- A rigour of approach to ensure the quality of experience for all concerned
- An open invitation to participate and learn
